Year 8The areas that are cornerstones of the middle school philosophy are Literacy, Numeracy and technology. The school has an orientation towards futures, in particular Aerospace. This highly academic program provides rigor but still allows students to explore the practical applications of aviation. Sampling of Key Learning Areas (KLAs) will be the focus in Year 8. Some integrated units involving several KLAs will run at various times in the year. To smooth the transition to secondary school, our aim is to minimise the number of subjects and teachers the students will have at any one time.
