Aviation High School has a strong commitment to students from the local area.
To be eligible for in catchment enrolment, parents or legal guardians who seek to enrol their child at the school will need to fully demonstrate that the student's principal place of residence is genuinely within the defined catchment area External link. Current proof of residency at the address indicated must be provided upon enrolment, as outlined in the Enrolment Management Plan External link.

Information and Induction sessions - Local Catchment Area
Enrolment Information and Induction Sessions will be held at Aviation High School during Term 1, Term 2, Term 3 and Term 4.
- Saturday 24th May 10am - 2pm - Open Day
- Thursday 5th June 4pm - Year 7 2026
- Tuesday 10th June 4pm - 6pm - Bulk In-catchment Interviews
- Thursday 31th July 4pm - All year levels 2026
- Saturday 11th October 10am - 2pm - Aviation Experience Day
- Tuesday 2nd December 9am - 2:30pm - Year 7 2026 - Orientation Day

It is compulsory for students beginning Year 7 to attend an information session as part of our enrolment process. Please register for the session you will attend on the information sessions tab.
Student in Years 8 - 12 will be contacted regarding the necessity of Induction session or interview after the completed application in received.
Proof of local residence
For all Local Catchment Area enrolment applications, the school requires the provision of sufficient documentary evidence to demonstrate that students seeking to enrol genuinely reside within the
defined catchment. External link

Before you apply
Before you start the application, please ensure that you have reviewed the following information:
Completing an application
Complete the Student Enrolment Pack (PDF, 5.4MB) - Local Catchment Area only
Complete the Application Checklist - Local Catchment Area (PDF, 257KB).
Please ensure you follow the
Application Checklist and provide all of the supporting documents required along with the enrolment paperwork, and copy of checklist.
Incomplete applications cannot be processed.
Submitting your application
Enrolment applications can be submitted via email or delivered to the school Administration Office.
Enrolment application packages must include copies of the relevant supporting documentation along with a completed Student Enrolment Application Form and copy of completed Application Checklist.
If applicable, original documents will be sighted by our Enrolment Office at a later date (to be advised).
Email/Scan and save all enrolment application paperwork in original format together with the required supporting documentation as a PDF file. Reduce the size of the application package to a .zip file External link format before emailing, if necessary.

Pre-enrolment interview / Information and Induction session
Pre-enrolment interviews or attendance at an Information and induction session are required for all Year 7 Local Catchment Area enrolments.
Registration for information and induction session can be completed along with the application package.
Enrolments for Years 8 - 12 will be required to complete the Enrolment forms and Enrolment check list. Information and induction session can be attended but are not compulsory for these years. If an Enrolment interview is required you will be contacted with information on interview times by our enrolments officer.
