Aerospace Experience Day 2026: Cancelled
Unfortunately, due to wet weather, Aerospace Experience Day on Saturday 24 October 2026, from 10am to 2pm, has been cancelled.
We share our community's disappointment and thank the families, industry partners, and supporters who were looking forward to joining us.
Enrolment interviews and AGAT entrance exams will still go ahead. All enrolment activities arranged through our Enrolments Officer will proceed, and families involved will be contacted with further details. For any questions, please email admin@aviationhigh.eq.edu.au.
Discover aerospace at Aviation High
Aerospace Experience Day is one of the highlights of our school calendar, bringing students, families, and the wider community together to explore the world of flight, innovation, and discovery.
This year's planned programme included:
- Building and launching rockets
- Flying drones
- Testing skills on flight simulators
- Watching helicopters land and take off on the school oval
- Meeting aviation professionals and exploring career pathways
The programme featured opportunities to connect with organisations including Qantas Pilot Academy, Airwork Helicopters, Brisbane Airport, Airbus, and Boeing, and meet pilots, engineers, drone operators, and air traffic controllers.
Aviation High connects classroom learning with the world of aerospace, helping students discover new interests and explore where their ambitions could take them.
