Aviation High School is one of 13 sites across Australia chosen to be involved in the Australian Government supported P-TECH initiative.
P-TECH (Pathways in Technology) is a high school based educational pathway which ultimately provides options for students to study industry linked science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) and technology based subjects from as early as Year 7 but mainly from Year 9 through to Year 12.
Aviation High School will offer a P-Tech Technology subject to selected 2020 Year 9 and Year 10 students which will encompass the skills of coding, digital analytics, artificial intelligence, project management, communication, presentation and team building.
The skill sets being taught and experienced around the P-TECH Program will place Aviation High students in a very strong position to seek employment with industry partners and other firms like them. P-TECH skills will also assist students to pursue a tertiary education pathway, which can be completed in conjunction with a QCE ATAR score.
