At Aviation High School, high-quality teaching and learning is underpinned by evidence-based pedagogy and a strong commitment to continuous improvement. We have proudly been an ASOT (Art and Science of Teaching) school for the past 14 years, with all staff trained in the New Art and Science of Teaching (nASOT) framework developed by Dr Robert Marzano. Working closely with Dr Janelle Wills, our teachers continually refine their practice to ensure excellence in instruction, while our classrooms in action are grounded in John Fleming's Explicit Instruction model, creating engaging, structured, and high-impact learning environments where all students can succeed.
