In Years 7–9 Health & Physical Education, students build the knowledge, skills and confidence to enhance their health, safety, wellbeing and physical performance in line with Version 9.0 of the Australian Curriculum.
Students explore movement concepts and strategies across a range of physical activities, develop teamwork and leadership skills, and apply tactical understanding in game and sport contexts. In Health, they investigate respectful relationships, identity, mental health, nutrition, and strategies to promote personal and community wellbeing. Learning emphasises critical thinking, decision-making, collaboration and reflective practice.
Our program challenges students to apply their learning in authentic and active contexts, take responsibility for their own wellbeing, and develop the skills and resilience needed for lifelong participation in physical activity and healthy living.
